Your Respite can be as short as 1 or 2 nights or even a few weeks.  Your respite can be nearby, in your city, or envolve a longer journey, depending on your preferences and budget.

The key factors that influence costing is duration, location and the level of care required.   SSTC supports the concept that learning and skill development can also be embedded in respite, it that is what the participant is looking for.

NDIS plan preparation

The Service

Many parents and carers are overwhelmed by the process preparing for a new plan, a review, or a change of circumstance.  It is a stressful  and a time consuming gathering supporting evidence and the required reports that make a good application.  SSTC has had extensive experience since the inception of the NDIS and advocating for participants to get the best outcomes.

The Process

Prior to meeting your LAC, we meet with you to discuss a potential problem with your current plan or what you want to gain from your future plan.  Some current plans are under funded due to a lack of preparation and documentation, though it can be corrected in many cases with the right approach and expertise.  We build a document around your needs and goals with supporting evidence ready to be presented to a LAC and Planner.

Why

Dotting all of i's and crossing t's ensures the participant gets the best funding for the support they require.  As most LAC meeting are now conducted in a virtual format, and the skills and experience  of LAC's varies, preparation is key, and this clearly impacts on the participant.   Another part of our service, is that we are available to attend meetings to advocate on your behalf and make a strong case.

Getting the best plan possible is an investment or the future and will improve everyone's lives in the circle of support.
